Darts Club

Where we play

Wednesday nights in the Members room.

We play on a Wednesday night usually starting at 8pm & finishing round 10.30pm.

We have two seasons the first one starts around mid February till end June we have a short break & restart around early to mid July going through til October after which we have our Club Championships which include Club Singles, Club Doubles which all members of Clayton R.SL. can play in. Then we have our Les Marsden & Don Gates Trophies we play for after them we also have our mixed doubles in which our partners or friends play with a dart club member which is always fun.

We have a variety of teams which include Gold, Crackers, Rebels, Black & Red, they range in a variety of divisions between first & fourth. We would like to start up a Fifth division team at the start of next season so new players come on in.

On 16 & 17 October we also have an event in which a minimum of 6 players, if we have more we usually put more teams in go to Morwell to play against other rsl's which come from all over. Over the years the teams that have gone away have done reasonably good & have brought back the trophy.

2010 Trophies

Clayton Red Winners of Division 4

Two of our teams Gold and Red made the grand finals and both were involved in close encounters. Gold, who dominated most of the season in the number 1 ladder position faultered only slightly to give the win to Frankston by 1 point. Red did awesome to take out the 4th division honours also by 1 point against Mentone Wombats. Well done to all teams!

Clayton Red are promoted to Division 3 this year.

Season Break

In the break we played our Club Doubles & Singles, we did not get a lot of people turning up which was disappointing.
CONGRATULATIONS to JAMIE BROWN for a nice 180.

Doubles

On the 20th April, we had Club Doubles, there were 10 of our usual dart players we had a good time with most of the games being fought to the last double.

Singles

On the 27th April, we had our Club Singles, there were even less players only 8 of our usual players turned up for thisone which was very disappointing. All games were played in great spirits.

CRACKERS playing at Frankston against Frankston;
BLACK playing at Cranbourne against Cranbourne Eagles;
